CYC programs

The Chinese Youth Club (CYC) serves as a Greater Washington DC 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We provide opportunities for our individuals to become productive members of the community. The organization focuses on fostering youth development through active participation in various programs, including Athletics, Community Service, and Cultural Activities.

LION Dance Clinic & Practice schedule

All practices are held on Saturdays

  • 3:00-4:00pm: Juniors (ages 6+)
  • 4:00-5:00pm: Seniors

    • October 2025

  • Tilden Middle School: 10/4, 10/18, 10/25
  • No Practice: 10/11 (Senior Performance at 4:30 PM)

    • November 2025

  • Tilden Middle School: 11/1, 11/22
  • North Bethesda Middle School: 11/8, 11/15
  • No Practice: 11/29 (Thanksgiving Weekend)

    • December 2025

  • North Bethesda Middle School: 12/6, 12/13, 12/20
  • No Practice: 12/27 (Winter Break)

    • January 2026

  • Garrett Park Elementary School: 1/3, 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31

    YOUTH CLINICS

    We offer basketball, volleyball, and lion dance clinics for boys and girls. Our experienced coaches provide hands-on training. The schedule will vary throughout the year, so we will post the dates once they are confirmed.
